Most recent project was Crescent Grove, a development of eight homes on a sensitive site next to a listed building.
The site was marginal, being on soft ground near to high flats. The design solution was to build in timber frame on piled foundations. Each flat was individually tailored to make the most of orientation and privacy. They are surprisingly spaceous in a situation where we were concerned to avoid overdevelopment and top floors are characterised by coomb ceilings in the Arts and Crafts tradition.
The units were finished to a high standard and are now sold. We wish the occupiers happiness as they form a new community in this pocket of Scotstounhill.
